Plopsa Indoor Hasselt x Concept Factory
For this project, which was my first at Concept Factory, I worked as both technical designer and project coordinator. Based on the client’s concept sketches, I recreated the entire design in CAD, detailing every component and breaking it down by material. I also implemented design adjustments to improve usability and the visitor experience, raising the counter to suit children’s height and reorganizing the cash register for easier access to materials.
I oversaw the demolition of the old booth and handled all technical preparation, including detailed drawings, assembly plans, and construction schedules. I coordinated with suppliers to ensure all custom elements, such as the welded aluminum duck basin and the laser-cut top, could be produced accurately, providing all necessary technical files.
All parts were built in-house, and I programmed the 3-axis CNC machine for multiplex, HPL, and MDF components. I coordinated the construction timeline with the workshop team and painters and provided on-site guidance during installation.
This project took me from concept to final installation, giving me hands-on experience in translating creative ideas into safe, functional, and user-friendly designs while efficiently managing production, suppliers, and on-site assembly.
